SURFING WITH US

Madeira Island is no novelty for surfers from all around the world - it is known as the "Hawaii" of Europe. In fact, there are excellent conditions for the practice of surf and bodyboard in its paradisiacal coastal places, which, combined with great weather and good water temperature, make it a great surf and bodyboard region and a great reason for surf lovers to visit the island: great photographic records and videos are found widespread over the Internet - by searching for "surf / bodyboard in Madeira" – one can find pictures and even movies from waves of great quality.

You can join us in our surf classes with Calhau Surf School. The surf school belongs to the seven times regional surf champion of Madeira, Belmiro Mendes and Rodolfo Machado, a surf practitioner for about 30 years, who lead the school with a very dynamic, motivational and encouraging atmosphere.

Together with Calhau Surf School we have available surf packs - accomodation + surf.

Quality service: Our lessons are accompanied by photographs and/or footage taken in/out of water, allowing us to register the student's progress in each class! Each instructor will have only 6 students maximum in order to better support them!
